The Moontown Project are an alternative/indie electronic band originally from Kingston, SW London, now based in Leeds. The group release music under the close-knit, New Malden based label, Stogey Records.
https://trevabrandonscharf.com/xsq17aupx4 Their style is influenced by their roots in indie/alternative music, but while studying Music Production in Leeds became immersed in the electronic club and rave scene in their new hometown and wanted to capture this energy in a live-band setting. Live-looping performances blend jazzy guitar and keyboards to a backdrop of Hip-Hop and Disco inspired beats and funky bass lines.
