After playing together since 2013, the Sheffield lads finally emerged as a powerful three-piece punk rock collective and have already begun making a name for themselves on their hometown’s music scene.
https://semnul.com/creative-mathematics/?p=pdhtxg9xr9https://luisfernandocastro.com/k8rkt5zuy Drawing their main influences from Nirvana, IDLES and the Humbug era of Arctic Monkeys, the band bring a raw air of lo-fi punk with solid, grungy undertones and lashing of bassy wisdom. The release of their first two singles in 2018 alongside support slots for the likes of Sœur and Drahla saw them bring their relentless energy to the Steel City, with only bigger things to come in 2019. Kicking off the year by releasing their third single Trees Are Green, Nervous Pills have graced stages (and even backyards) supporting Lady Bird and Ist Ist as well as playing alongside fellow Sheffield bands Floodhounds and BlackWaters at a unique DIY event. The band also stamped their riotous mark on the official Idles after-show party in Sheffield whilst playing with rock Gods JOHN (TIMESTWO) who they will support in October, after a plethora of gigs lined up including this year’s Tramlines Fringe and Ynot Festival.
