see url Elson is Owen Kimble, Kieran Pykett, and Owen Armitage, a three-piece alternative band from the small but very loud fishing town of Grimsby. Formed in their last year of attending university, Elson’s catchy pop song-writing style and admiration of experimental sounds make for an intriguing and unexpected listen – reminiscent of early 90’s brit rock whilst leaving behind the laddish attitude of their precursors.
