source url After finding a drummer in a bar and recruiting a childhood friend to play guitar; Brad Thomas, Kieran Pratt, Henry Swales and Joe Cook came together to form FREE PARTY. Not satisfied with their sound, the band then recruited expert bassist Harris Johnson to form the 5 piece, triple guitar sensation that the city of Leeds has fallen in love with. Music journalist Sherman Rabbit described their sound as ‘Jesus and the Mary chain if they were fronted by Thom Yorke’ in a write up for ASBO Magazine. Mixed together the 5 piece birth unique songs which can be both dancey and heavy. After conquering some of Leeds’ top venues FREE PARTY are now taking their music around the UK and look forward to releasing 2 new singles in the near future.
